Gallery Sixty Five
Established in May of 2010, GALLERY 65 is one of Yangon's most vibrant and unique art galleries. Open 6 days a week, we strive to keep the Gallery accessible, interesting and diverse. Our mandate is to exhibit contemporary Myanmar art that is "always fresh, new and original" and we continue to work hard to keep the Gallery dynamic. We are constantly refining the aesthetics of the Gallery representing emerging and established artists in Myanmar. There is always something new to view at GALLERY 65.
We aspire to have a pivotal role in supporting working Myanmar artists by sharing their work with collectors here in Myanmar and abroad. It is essential to us that all visitors, clients and those interested in fine arts feel welcome in our gallery. Our staffs are sociable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share their admiration and familiarity of our artists with all visitors. We work closely with each client to choose the perfect pieces of art at prices consistent with galleries across Yangon.
The Gallery occupies the ground floor of an old colonial teak house that is about a hundred years old. The interior of the house has been carefully renovated and much effort has been made to retain the integrity and old world charm of the building. The Gallery has approximately 1,500 square feet of exhibit space and is fully air-conditioned to provide visitors optimal comfort in viewing artworks. There is on premise parking and also ample street parking outside the compound.
